Newton Hills Camping

We spent this weekend in Newton Hills on another camping adventure with the Masters' family. We had a blast as usual. We ate lots of yummy food, hiked, went to the beach, and attempted to go to the church service at the campground. (We think we heard the service start about 45 minutes after it was supposed to start).
We went for a hike Saturday morning & Grandpa thought carrying Gabe around on the hike was pretty awesome. I think Gabe liked it too.

Newton Hills has TONS of gorgeous hiking trails, especially in the fall with all the colors changing.

Grandpa thought that watching Gabe was more fun than looking at the scenery!

Gabe went to the beach for the first time this weekend. He decided that napping was the best way to spend his time at the beach.

He had some fun tummy time...

and a bottle too!

Gus and Mollie had fun too. Gus likes to have a "safe place" to hide everywhere he goes so Mollie's old kennel works perfectly at the campgrounds!

Gabers loves to smile and giggle with everyone!

He is one happy little dude!

He had tubby time with Gramma.

And story time.

Of course, we had to make s'mores!

Max always has a pose for the camera!

We spent the evenings watching for shooting stars!

And each morning we enjoyed cuddling with our sweet little nephew. Love that little bug!
We can't wait to do it all again next weekend at Yogi Bear Campground with even more family members! We love camping!

10 Years

This weekend we had my 10 year high school reunion in Chamberlain. To be honest, it feels like a life time ago to me and I always wondered if I would even go back for my reunion when the time came. I loved growing up in a small town where I knew almost everyone I graduated with and for that reason I decided that I did want to get back and see people I hadn't seen in a very long time.

Before the Alumni Banquet
We had a blast all weekend. Unfortunately I was too busy laughing and sharing stories with old friends to remember to take very many pictures! On Friday night just my class met at the Chamberlain Bowling Dome. And Saturday night was the Alumni Banquet where all alumni classes have dinner, a speaker, and a dance. We spent a lot of our time catching up with one of my closest friends from high school, Maureen and her wonderful husband Ed. They treated us to a couple games of bowling and we got to have breakfast with them Sunday before we all left town.

Class of 2001
We had a wonderful weekend. Saturday night we laughed harder and longer than we had in quite awhile! I think Max even ended up with a headache from laughing so much! It was great seeing so many of my classmates and getting to catch up. Hopefully even more of us can show up in 10 more years!

Family Vacation 2011

We spent June 25th-July3rd in Chamberlain for the Leiferman Family Vacation. Our week "on the river" was a little different than other years since everywhere is experiencing record flooding. But we still had an amazing time like always and made so many wonderful memories!
Going out to Cedar Shore for our 7th Wedding Anniversary. We are so very blessed.

I was SO blessed to grow up in a family that has always made time for family and put family first. I love that we all get together whenever we can and make all these memories to last a lifetime. I can't wait for our children to grow up with these crazy & wonderful people in their lives. Thank you, God for blessing us with amazing families!

Happy 4th of July!!

We had an awesome 4th of July in Parker this year! We got to spend the day spoiling Gabe and eating homemade big macs with corn on the cob! Then Max, Bob, and I headed over to Lennox for the fireworks. We met up with the Davis family and had an awesome night!
