10 Months Old

On the 16th of January,
You turned 10 months old little buddy!
You now weigh 22 lbs and are 29inches long.
You started walking 3 days before you turned 10 months old.
You say da-da all day long.
You love your red wagon from Uncle Randy & Aunt Brittany. You push it around all day.
You love when someone chases you. You crawl away as fast as you can, laughing the whole way.
You are precious and sweet.
You also like to explore and touch everything. And the words "no" and "stop" send you into tears.
You leave your mama exhausted and happy by the end of each day.
We are so very blessed.
While spending time with our sweet friend Beth, on New Years Day, she decided to do an unplanned photo shoot with you! Her photos of you are always such an incredible gift.
So other than the usual monthly photo we took, we want to share with all of you some of our favorites from Liam's 10 month photo shoot.
Thank you Beth!

Here We Go

Ladies & Gentlemen,
We have a walker at our house. On Sunday night (the 13th) we were at small group when Liam decided to show off for our friends and started walking all around their living room.
Here he is using his new skills to chase our dogs.

Look out world...Liam is on the move!

Liam meets Santa

Liam got to meet Santa when we took Grandpa shopping at the mall before Christmas. He was excited watching the other kids in line. He was excited when he first sat with Santa and got to play with his beard and glasses. But when the photographer started ringing a bell at him to get his attention the fun was over and the tears started flowing. Here are some pics from Liam's first time meeting Santa:

Liam's 1st Christmas

Our first Christmas with our beautiful baby boy was just as amazing as we always dreamed it would be. We got to celebrate many times which made it that much more fun. It also means I took A LOT of photos. I won't make you look at all of them, but here are a bunch! The weekend before Christmas we got to celebrate with the Friman side of Max's family & with Gabe. It was a pajama party Christmas so we all got matching jammies. It was a blast. Thanks to Grandma Deb for our jammies.

That night Gabe & Liam got to open their gifts from Grandma & Grandpa since we wouldn't be seeing Gabe on Christmas.

Christmas Eve is always my favorite day of the holidays. I just adore going to church on Christmas Eve and getting to celebrate Jesus birth and the anticipation of all of the fun waiting for us on Christmas day. This year was extra special. We got to spend Christmas Eve at church with the whole Masters family together. We felt extra blessed to have Papa Bob there with us after the scare we had in October. We had much to be thankful for. We spent the rest of the evening eating prime rib, enjoying some Christmas punch, watching Christmas Vacation, and getting spoiled with Christmas gifts!

We woke up at home on Christmas morning. Santa had filled our stockings and left a few presents for us under the tree. It was so fun watching Liam open his gifts and play with his new toys!
Then we had a Christmas breakfast with Max's family before we left for Chamberlain.

We spent the rest of our morning opening gifts with my Mom's side of the family and having a delicious Christmas lunch. Liam had a blast hanging out with his Uncle D and the rest of the family. We spent the afternoon playing games and enjoying our new gifts!

Then on Christmas afternoon we headed to my Grandma's for Christmas with my Dad's side of the family. Liam loves getting loved on by all of his cousins!
When we got back to my parents Grandma read him a special Christmas story before he went to bed.
He definitely had a very special first Christmas.
We are so very blessed.

Christmas at the Capitol

One of our favorite traditions is going to Pierre for "Christmas at the Capitol". The Capitol building is decorated with hundreds of beautiful trees all centered around that years theme. This year was extra special because we got to take Liam for the first time. He was in heaven. Millions of lights and tons of people...two of his favorite things!

Ready to get started.

This is the official Capitol Christmas Tree for this year.
Gorgeous.

Our beautiful little family.

Always one of my favorite shots.

It wasn't nearly as warm as it was last year when we went  but we still
had to bundle up and walk down to the lake.

And of course we had to stop and check on Grandpa on our way home.
His arm is healing nicely and therapy is going good after his surgery to heal his rotator cuff.
